| I used these guys 22 years ago and was happy with their work. »dunawaysurveyinginc.com/FAQ.htm It was $600 (in 1989 money! )to find the four corners of a 2.5 acre lot.
Cost depends on time and type of survey. we had clear access to all four corners and close to a usgs section corner monument so it was pretty simple. if you need something more complex, or further from a monument/known point it can be very expensive. if you and the adjoining property can agree(in writing) on a shared fence/ fenceline you can probably spend the extra on a nicer fence installed (most larger fencing companies, have their own surveyor/contractor to avoid most problems. If you can't agree (the reason for MANY fences) then finding the corners, sighting between and stepping back 6-12 inches is cheaper than going to court/re-fencing later. your deed/property desrcripition may have clues to earlier surveys which may make it easier. |

| Both Markers are available AFAIK. Its an issue with the rental neighbor so Id rather know exactly where it is and come off 6" (Required by Everett City code) and be done with it.
The Owner of the house is kind of a dip, and complaints to him dont seem to go far.
The Renter keeps parking 2 or 3 of their 8 - 10 cars in the middle between the houses. They have 10 gas cans and 3 or 4 10 gallon oil drums on their side of the property. I have a Chain Link to the back of the house that runs 6" off the line as I remember it. We want to put an 8ft wood all the way to the street now to prevent their using my side constantly.
Ive asked them not to, but they are Russian immigrants that seem to have a different attitude about that.
I called the city about the hazard but the inspector said he couldn't see anything from the street (cant come on property). They keep it well hidden behind cars so they cant see off the street. -- Rick Scott Everett, Washington
