Automotive → [Help] 2007 saturn ion....engine lights

Both my engine lights keep coming on and my car goes into reduced power mode. I have had the car in the shop more times than I can count. I have had 4 new gas peddles and the wiring harness has been replaced and it is still happening. They don't know what else to do with it. Any ideas?

Take it somewhere that knows what they are doing.

I'd have to say... this is a pretty good idea.

With out any codes that are setting the lights we have less than no chance to even give maybe the right place to look.

Sounds like a code with the Throttle Position Sensor circuit. I seem to recall a technical service bulletin about this, and there was an issue with the wiring in some, but there also was a mention of a problem with the ECM (computer) that would mimic the sensor failure.

I'd definitely take it to a different shop, and one that has access to the TSB's and has the ability to re-program ECM's as that was the required fix for some of them.
