|
 | No I just wanted a better mother board that I could run SLI on. I am keeping my 1055t it meets my needs just fine. I wanted a saber tooth but did not want to change the CPU and ram. My friends build is going to be a sandy bridge system. |

If you are going multi-GPU, Radeons scale better. |

| Here are the reason I upgraded from board 2 More sata devices I am running 3 40Gb SSD's in raid0 TV tuner in middle x4 slot prevented me from getting a add on card because of cross fire setup. NO SLI support felt handcuffed not enough PCIE lanes for expansion the board layout is not that good compared to saber tooth No 3 TB HDD support NO USB 3.0 front pannel support.
You may feel like a made I a dumb move but I feel like it was justified. . |

|
 | I fellt like I was being forced to use AMD cards. |

|
 | I am running cross fire now with 2 5770's my next setup will most likely be SLI depending on price of coarse. |
|
 | I think you should buy an intel setup too cause right now you are being force to use a AMD cpu.
O ya if you do a sensible SLI upgrade (big if) your CPU will limit it... I don't want to hear bulldozer... mention it when we see *anything* on it for all we know it will never come out and if it does intel will blow it away.
As for the OP so I aint trolling like other people here
Their are no *optimal settings* if the thing is working they are optimal... if you have massive voltage drop hindering your OC... change the LLC... etc etc if it works you are at optimal... |

Seriously?
»Re: [ Parts Check] gigabyte mother board.
I saw this coming over a year ago. Your upgrade threads are always a deja vu. |

 | I got both boards half priced. I spend more money on Braums Hamburgers than I do on mother boards. |

Re: [Mobo] Asys sabertooth 990fx Whats eve more lol worthy is that he obsesses over mobos and multi GPU at the mid range when it's clear he'd be better served just going with 1 single top end card.
Every few weeks it's another upgrade thread though... |
