It's officially apple season again. What kinds does everyone get? How much do they cost? What do you do with them?
I'm headed to get a 1/2 peck of Macs after work. Not sure how much they cost yet but I'm guessing like $18 since that's last years price. This batch of apples is for eating but later in the season we'll get some for pies and sauce.

I'm all about the Macs! I love 'em! Normally I get a bunch for eating. And sometimes I will make a pie or two. I don't normally just go to an orchard. It isn't "fun" going alone. But I have gone with a friend before, with a child. And it is so much more fun! (More so, for the child!)

reply to Spork The wife and I head over to Tougas Farms in Northboro for Honeycrisps and Fujis. Oh and a crap load of cider and doughnuts. I throw the cinn/sugar doughnuts on the grill.
