said by NLiveris:I don't know how it is on Android phones, but on Blackberries, all of these VZW apps are just tiny installer links. When you click them the first time, they offer to download and install the actual application. So one just moves all these links to a folder with some appropriate name (like "junk"); out of sight, out of mind, never to be seen or heard from again.
A fresh coat of paint and a name change won't hide the fact that Verizon blows at creating compelling content. Just stick to providing cell service. I dislike seeing your "Apps" in my app list. I really don't want or need "VCast Media Manager either." Verizon reminds me of those garbage emachines computers, jam packed full of useless B.S and resource hogging crapware. Madden NFL, Skype, CityID, Kindle, Blockbuster... all forced onto my Droid X without my consent, always running in background, wasting RAM.
When I get a laptop from Dell, it similarly has a bunch of these installer links on the desktop, which get similar treatment.
