 | Can't get my WEP code I made a big mistake last night trying to set up a Netgear wifi range extender. In desperation I connected it to my mac by ethernet and it's completely messed up my wifi. A new wireless network seems to have been created but it's locked and I don't know the WEP password. I am told I need to find the WEP password in my router settings. I tried to log on to the Netgear router by the usual means but the usual login of 'admin' and 'password' no longer work - help! |

| I can't say for certain as you neglected to give a model number, but the vast majority of networking devices have a factory reset button that if you hold it down for over 30 seconds, puts it back like it came from the factory.
Look for one and if you don't find one, tell us what model you have, so we can show you pictures. -- I tried to remain child-like, all I achieved was childish. |

Between the yellow sockets and the black power jack is an unmarked dot.
Use a paper clip and hold it down for over 30 seconds with the power on. -- I tried to remain child-like, all I achieved was childish. |
