| [Need Info] Wagons South! I'm getting transferred to Fort Worth with work, and I could use a little local information.
I'll be working just off of I-30 and S. University Drive in Ft Worth.
What are the nicer neighborhoods within about a 20 minute drive? Not talking multi-million dollar mansions, but just quiet little areas where My wife and I can raise our 4 kids.
And what companies provide basic utilities in those areas? -- I'm tired of killing stupid people just trying to do my job and go home! |

OmenQSpazzPremium join:2003-03-21 Continuum | I'm on the exact opposite corner of the "Metroplex" area from there, so I don't think I'm the best source for advice, but I did find the location by looking for the train tracks. You may want to hear more from someone who lives on that side of town, but I hear good things about Benbrook and White Settlement. (We have some crazy named towns out here.) Both are nearby to some small lakes, and WS is right next to the Joint Reserve Base. Perhaps that will give you a place to start in your search. Welcome to Texas! -- Cogito Ergo Nom |

I've been looking at the demographics, but you can only learn from that if you assume some stereotypes. Local information is always preferable. -- I'm tired of killing stupid people just trying to do my job and go home! |
