My parents have Star Tex in Houston and are happy with them. Here in Denton the electricity is run by the city. The rate is 5.7c per kWh, and over 40% of the energy is renewable.

My base rate is 9.1 cents / kwh however after TDU charge the effective rate works out to 12.28 cents / kwh. I'm with Kinetic on a 100% renewable plan.

Is that 9.39 cents / kwh before or after the TDU charge is factored in?
