Sorry to resurrect an old post, but has anyone had a definitive solution to the Belkin's "squelching" of speeds from the router. Specifically from Time Warner Cable's Road Runner service? I'm in Southern California and I also have the squelch issue with my N1 Vision router. If I bypass the Belkin router and go straight from TWC to my Mac, I get 25Mbps download speeds. When I connect back to the Belkin, it slows down to 7Mbps which is unacceptable. Also to note, I just updated the firmware on the Belkin N1 Vision router so the problem lies between TWC and Belkin apparently. I hope someone can provide some solutions for this one. Thanks in advance. |

If your Belkin router has both hard connect and wireless you can turn off the Wireless side by going into the Belkin setup page via a browser to hopefully speed up your network. Good luck. |
