Primus

I left Bell after 30 some years as they were greedy and wanted to make me pay for long distance phones calls to addresses that i had never heard of through my dial up internet, even when i had long distance calls blocked by Bell this continued. As i never made any calls to these phone #'s i refused to pay bell and left them for Primus .
I had Primus phone and high speed dial up internet for a few years, fine until i had to move i had 2 houses for a year they unhooked my new homes phone after a couple of months because of non payment but i had the same payment- direct withdrawal as i did with my 1st home. When i explained they hooked it up again and charged me a service fee it up again this happened 2 times. Then i had 1 month with older home and was then to move out . I anticipated leaving sooner but realizing that i would need more time (another month) i told Primus a week in advance to keep my old phone alive. All the while i had hooked into a dial up internet in the new home it did not work, took 2 hours to get to e-mail and then shut down. Meanwhile in my old home Primus shut down my phonw so while in the middle of moving and buying new applieance i had no phone (they turned it on for 3 days and then turned it off again for the whole month I was living there. When i moved out they turned it back on without my permission even when i told them no one was living @ the house again charged me a service fee. I even told The Bell service man who works for Primus that no one was living in the house anymore. In the middle of moving unsure of County internet and phone service i was frightened they would shut of my new home again. I finally had some tiem to check and switched to Rogers, promised my old home phone # only with Rogers. @ present i am not able to get my old # back as Primus states the the old home phone # is a new # (which it is not) and will not let Rogers obtain it and give it back to me. Alot of $ for so little service. I am disgusted with Primus think they are generally rude and caused me a very expensive inconvenience.
