I just got nexicom yesterday. My speeds were great yesterday despite my network card only having 4/5 bars. I was able to play competitive online games without issue. Today I can barely load this webpage and I have no idea why.
reply to grasshoppa its DSL. located on george street. using an ethernet cord hasn't improved my connection either. so its an issue with the modem/router
I'd suggest calling into helpdesk and get them to look at your line stats. Being on George St. (depending on how close to downtown) you should be on our ADSL2+ service - sounds like a profile issue or simply a bad modem but just speculation.
