Thanks for the "goodie bag" & what the AT&T guy said..

Dear Sonic Folks,

I received the goodie bag you sent me for referring 2 new customers to you. Nifty items, thank you very much.

I thought that you would also like to know that the same day that it showed up, I was asked by my landlord to provide access to the building telephone closet for two AT&T tech's who were here to work on a neighbor's line.

I found myself boasting about the speed I got from my Fusion line compared to what AT&T could deliver. (over 3X as fast) As soon as I mentioned Sonic.net, one of the guys from AT&T turned to the other and said "A LOT of people are switching to Sonic. Did you know that they get a free POTS line and unlimited long distance? I don't know how they do it!"

That guy from AT&T was as sold on Sonic.net as much as I am. Keep up the good work!

Answer: "Their profits are also used to upgrade their network instead of just going to executive management bonuses and compensation."

And "regulatory capture". They will spend a ton of money on this T-Mobile acquisition while their customers languish with exhausted routers.

Awesome to hear, I'm very happy that we're gaining some market awareness. And, thank you VERY much for the referrals, that's a huge help for us. The less we can spend on marketing, the more we can put into the products.

And ... wait 'til you see what we add to Fusion next.

Not a sonic.net customer myself (but I wish I was), however I did want to thank you guys for running a (seemingly) honest ship. As someone pointed out, it's pretty screwed up for a company to go around paying the CEO hundreds of times what their employees make for doing.. a lousy job -_-

Best of luck
