Re: Wildblue Sucks Everyone does NOT have access to another form of internet. I live in a remote area and while I do hate the FAP and that I cannot get more than 17GB and think after 8 years they should get with the times -video size has increased drastically - they are better than dialup. Download speed isn't too bad - I download a lot of audio books. I can still play World of Warcraft - with lag but I still raid and have better DPS than some with cable internet. VPN is slow but I can still work remotely. Mostly YouTube works...except some hours I need to buffer too much.
If I had another choice I would take it, but I don't. I don't know why anyone would do satellite if they had another choice.....but I know some people who have tried wireless and found it slower and unable to play games and get dropped a lot. |
