| [shared] tarball restore file question The other day, my host had a disk failure on the server my site is hosted on. They're working on recovery (not cheap, I'm sure), but in the meantime, we can restore our sites and load our recovery files if we wish. Question:
If I load a restore file that DOES NOT contain emails that are on my local machines, what happens to those newer local emails once the email accounts sync with the server? |

| They will probably be gone due to the restore process restoring an older image. I recommend downloading the new emails with POP3 client so you can re-upload them later on after the restore process is complete. |
