Re: Pics of our major kitchen/den remodel said by Ken:What made you go with that shelf style microwave as opposed to the variety meant to mount to the wall? I think it dresses it up and gives it a nice finished look. -- Stop The Mindless Killings Stop Over Fishing |

 | reply to sempergoofy Hey that came out really good! Btw we have one of those microwaves at work. A panasonic inverter or something... It's a good unit!
Everything is done real nicely. Good work and enjoy it! |

| Yeah, those roll out shelves are great! Also have them in the cabinet to the left of the stove where we keep pots/pans.
The two corners of the counter are lazy-susan type. The corner doors act as one with a hinge in the middle. Inside are two rotating shelves with a "V" cut out where the door is when closed.
And there is a spice drawer cabinet immediatly right of the stove. -- nohup rm -fr /& |

I can't really tell from the pics, but do you have access to this storage in the corner? I ask b/c when the jackasses "people" built my home, they left it as dead space. My dishwasher is to the right of this dead space, so don't really know if they could have done anything different other than putting access from the other side...which wouldn't have been that bad of a thing. -- Not only does Jesus save, but he makes nightly off-site backups. |

My guess is that's a Lazy Susan cabinet there. -- "We are the Borg. You WILL be assimilated!" -ST:TNG |

Corner cabinet door open | Top shelf rotated for access | Same from above to give aspect | The spice drawer, because I was already shooting pics | The other corner. Sheet/rack cabinet left of that corner lazy susan. |
As indicated, the corners are lazy susan cabinets. The doors on the right-hand corner to the right of the sink are less wide than the corner near the stove. 7.25" per panel versus 10.25" per panel. So some of the big-ass stuff you see in the left-hand lazy susan would not fit through the opening to the right hand lazy susan. Rollout trash drawer cabinet is to the right of the r.h. lazy susan.
Edit: Removed an ambiguous reference. -- nohup rm -fr /& |
