 | Jamboree-on-the-Air 2011 I was wondering what hams and/or scouters are planning on operating for the Jamboree-on-the-Air? Here is our JOTA page:

I am both the ham trustee for W2S and an assistant scoutmaster for the event. Should be a blast, I have been psyching the boys about the marvels of amateur radio. Now I only have to deliver! -- Jim, N2RBJ |

| In previous years, my club, K6AA, would set up a JOTA station at the Los Angeles Maritime Museum. It went over quite well, but in the last five or so years we noticed a deline in attendance, so we stopped doing it. I always cruise the bands on JOTA weekend, so I'll listen for you guys. I hope to hear from everyone on the air. I am curious what people think of this year's JOTA patch. I find it a bit odd myself. -- Jim, N2RBJ |

 | reply to JerseyJim A friend of mine camps out with a scout troop for the JOTA event. From what I understand they make contacts and have a pretty good time. |
