 | [HELP] Upgrade ASA 5505 License I purchased a Cisco ASA 5505 with a basic license about a year ago from newegg for home use. The basic license only allows 10 inside hosts but I now have more devices than allowed. How can I go about buying a new license if I'm just a home user? A lot of websites will sell you a new asa with more available connections but I can't find just the license.
Thanks! |

 | reply to nickelman Remind me again bigsy, was there a combination licence for more users AND SecPlus functionality, or does Cisco insist on keeping them seperate?

Plus licence does not upgrade the number of users, and I am not aware of the availability of a single 'combination' licence to do both upgrades. It turns into an expensive undertaking to convert a basic 10 user ASA5505 to a fully loaded version |

 | reply to nickelman Interesting question is comparing a user+SecPlus licence upgrade versus buying an unlimited / SecPlus model outright.
