 | Porting Windstream number to Vonage While porting my number, I got an email from Vonage saying that Windstream wanted my current account number before they could release the number. I went to Vonage's website, plugged in the number, and now it says "Waiting for Response", and has said this since Thursday.
About how long does it take for Windstream to accept the account number, and release the phone number to Vonage? My Adapter is arriving on Monday, and it'd be nice if my number was ported by then. |

 | Nevermind, I got an email today, saying that my number would be ported on the 5th. |

 | Mine ported in five days. No horror stories like I read from other users. |

| reply to sjvirchow I have previously ported a boost mobile number to vonage and it took about a week and a half because they kept asking me to provide my boost mobile account information one piece at a time. Other then that no problems at all, they even gave me a free temporary phone line and number till it was finished and it had no problems as well. |

 | I'm absolutely loving Vonage so far! The call quality is much better than my old landline, and its much, MUCH cheaper. I'm loving it! |
