These photos are not leaks for how the Nexus Prime actually looks like. Instead, these are rendered images of an artists concept of what the Nexus Prime ought to look likeor might look like, based off of all the available rumored specs/information available about the device online. Barring any other upcoming concept designs more beautiful than these, I personally also want the Nexus Prime to look like this.
And, imagine this beautiful piece of technology with the following rumored powerful innards and specs:
- Android 2.4/4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich (with its famed 180% increase in performance over Android 3.x Honeycomb) -4.65-inch (other sources say 4.5-inch) Super AMOLED Plus (or even HD Super AMOLED) touchscreen - Texas Instruments OMAP 4470 (or 4460) dual-core processor clocked anywhere between 1.5 GHz and 1.8 GHz - 1280×720 HD display resolution - at least 1.0 GB of RAM - at least 32 GB of internal storage - 8.8 millimeters thin - no carrier- or manufacturer-imposed bloatwareonly pure Google experience
Here are two more images, both of which show the slightly curved (concave) middle portion of the phones body:
According to BGR, these are the specs of this phone, which will first be available on Verizon:
Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich 9mm thin 4.65-inch 1280 x 720-pixel Super AMOLED HD with curved glass TI OMAP 4460 dual-core Cortex A9 processor clocked at 1.2GHz 1GB of RAM 32GB of built-in storage 5-megapixel camera on the back, 1.3-megapixel in the front 1080p HD video capture support LTE/HSPA depending on carrier Wi-Fi a/b/g/n NFC 1,750 mAh battery
There is not much you see of the phone. You see three golden contacts that could be for accessories such as docks, the power button, a bulge near the bottom, same as on the Nexus S and a bulge for the camera near the top. The phone uses a two-tone color scheme with a grey back and black for the front.
You can also see the screen has a bit of a curve to it.
Beautiful phone with great specs!...Only problem for me is that it's only going to VZW (I am correct, aren't I?), and I'm in the middle of a contract with ATT with a Family plan.
I would love to get this phone when it comes out. Thanks for posting the pics and vid.

Well it's going to only be exclusive to Verizon for a while, then will be released to other carriers later on down the road (a la iPhone).
But if you are with AT&T, then I would suggest going for the Samsung Galaxy S II, it's an excellent phone, the best Android phone they've got!
Something major must have happened to delay the product launch event. Apple is probably happy.
"Samsung and Google decide to postpone the new product announcement at CTIA Fall. We agree that it is just not the right time to announce a new product. New date and venue will be shortly announced."
Actually a buddy of mine just told me something that makes sense. He said that most likely the delay is due to the fact that Steve Jobs' funeral is next week, and that it most likely would just be better to push back the announcement a bit since Apple and Google usually take little stabs at each other whenever they do presentations. Apple usually takes stabs at Android, and Google usually takes stabs at the iPhone. Now wouldn't be a good time for that with Jobs' passing, and funeral next week.
I know that the Samsung Galaxy S ll is a great phone. However, I just sent my HTC Inspire 4G back to HTC for repair yesterday, so I will wait to see what happens with that. If they fix it or send me a replacement that works properly, it's a great phone (then I'll wait for my Ice Cream Sandwich on ATT). However, if I still have major problems, I will look at the Samsung....Thanks.
Agree - and while there's clearly a financial motivation (getting the most marketing bang-for-your-buck in media attention) - it also shows some class in respect for Steve Jobs.
Some supposed "real life photos" are popping up - but it's hard to tell if they're the real deal.
