Irwin & Jova

Since I live on the East coast, I don't pay close attention to what's going on out in the Pacific. Obviously anyone else that wants to post about happening over that way is encouraged to do so.

That said.. I noticed this interesting event taking place over there, there is Hurricane Irwin and Tropical Storm Jova both sitting out off Mexico, both are expected to turn around and head back to the East and hit Mexico.

Primarily what's interesting is how close these storms are together, it's not often that you'll see them this close to each other. if the predicted tracks hold out they may make landfall in the same area.

Depending on how much rain they bring in it could be a major disaster down there. Not to mention the possibility of a double whammy. As soon as the first storm is over, the second one arrives.
