Port number from city not in list

Can we port a DID from a city not listed on voip.ms site?

Will that DID still be tied to this city? In other words, would that DID still be local for people calling from this city?

Login---> DID Numbers---> DID Portability---> Check Availability.

They will tell you up or down (Portable or Not).

In one (traditional Bell) sense, yes.

In another (more modern) sense, that entire question relates to the phone provider being used by the caller! For example, if the caller has a VoIP plan, or has an unlimited cellular plan, then the question is irrelevant.

I ported a number in from a rate centre which wasn't on that list without any problem, so it may be worth just emailing voip.ms and asking about your specific number.

The port came with rates at the higher end ($1.99/month, $0.0149/min) so inquire about the rates too.
