Selkirk, MB | 3800HGV-B firmware 6.3.7.23-plus.tm, dns/wifi fixed? My ISP (MTS Allstream) just rolled out new firmware for the 3800hgv-b's used for residential fibre service (connected to a cisco fibre modem).
Curious if anybody has any experience with this firmware (it appears to be running freebsd, bizzare).
Previously I have had to keep wifi on the 2link disabled due to the wifi/dns crash issue (having wifi with wpa enabled will cause the dns responder to crash periodically due to an apparent memory leak), just curious if it's safe to kick it back on? |
