Irmo, SC | Reply notifications: Request for link to "last read" As shown in the pic above, I think it would be helpful if, when you receive a IM from the board about a reply to your post, that a link to the last read post is included for the main thread.
The reason I submit this is that often when following a thread, and I get a reply, I'll click to see the reply itself, and once you've done this, the thread is considered "viewed" and you've lost your spot. Placing the (e) at the end would allow you to see all of the unread posts at the end of thread, where the reply to your post is, anyway.
I've just found that I miss other updates within a thread when I go directly to reply to my post.
Having the page numbers of a multi-page thread shown as well wouldn't hurt, either...while I'm asking.
*object* away...just thought I'd throw it out there. I'm open to suggestions if I'm just missing how this is supposed to be used. It's bugged me for years.
