New channels ever??

Been wondering the same thing. Knoxville already has the new channels. And for some reason they just can't fix the set top box issues. No Data Available being the biggest problem.

dusty, Try upluging the settop and leave it upluged for about 10-15 minutes. my old one in my room did that several dozen times and i never figured it out. But resetting it got the guide back for maybe a weeks time.

They just added some back in the summer.

Yea I think the Huntsville market also got the new channel's. As for the boxes sure I can reboot them everyday but I shouldn't have to. It's just a complete failure on their part for not keeping the box software updated. Hell we have the same program guide we had back in 1998.

One thing I do like about Knology is they keep their infrastructure in good shape unlike Comcast. Comcast will let their stuff go until it rot's off the pole before fixing it.

Well I know they added the OWN network several months ago, but they haven't added any new HD channels in my area anyway for a very long time. I'm in Panama City Beach Florida by the way.

And now they have bricked my 3250HD. They tried to update the software in it tonight and now it's in a reboot loop. Soon as it boots up and I change the channel it reboots and try's the update again. Why the hell can they not get these boxes to operate right.

They replaced my box with a 8300HD DVR even though I don't subscribe to dvr service. Nice box and so far no more issues.

Goodness. Sounds like there have been some major STB problems. I'm using a 4250HDC and have had no problems at all (knock on wood).

Some of my friends with 3250's also got bricked, so it sounds like all the 3250's got hit. That's what happens when you don't test your software before rolling it out.

Looks like more box updates went down tonight. New updates got pushed to my standard def STB's and they work afterward, unlike the 3250HD. My 8300HD was not affected at all by the update.

Best I can tell there doing whats called a DNCS "Digital Network Control System" upgrade. They must be getting ready to push something new out which I hope is a new program guide. Some new HD channels would be nice too.
