| Ping With Westell 7500 Was using the Westell 7500 supplied by Verizon in bridge mode until I started using it as a router to isolate suspected issues with my D-Link router.
I found that I couldn't ping anything outside of my network with the firewall enabled at medium level security. I added ICMP Echo to the "Port Forwarding" options and then was able to ping sites outside of my network. However, this made the Westell 7500 pingable from outside my network. I was able to ping sites outside of my network, but not make my router pingable or respond to pings with my D-Link router.
Is there a way to make the Westell 7500 behave like my D-Link router did in regards to ping? |
