Now you will make some changes: Wireless -> Primary Network -> Disabled Basic -> Setup -> NAPT Mode -> Disabled Basic -> DHCP -> No Advanced -> Options -> Rg Passthrough -> Enable Advanced -> Options -> Passthrough Mac Addresses -> Add 3. WAN MAC address of your router 6. Connect port 1 on the Motorola modem to the WAN port of your router. Plug the coaxial cable back into the modem and power cycle it. 2. »[Internet] RR Lightning SBG6580 Modem with Dlink DGL-4500 Setup? 1.Login in to Modem 2. Now you will make some changes: Wireless -> Primary Network -> Disabled *Basic -> Setup -> NAPT Mode -> Disabled The modem will now reboot and should be in bridged mode. I understand getting into the modem initially might need a reset I just wish Motorola hand clear instrucions on turning the SBG6580 into just a Modem. I am thinking it should be simple to bridge so I like #2 but I am not sure about ether.

Techy @qwest.net	The easiest method is to set the feature "RG Passthrough." It configures everything needed to "bridge the device. You may still want to disable wireless though.
