Interacting with your friends is just painful,.whether itis getting them added as a friend at all, to the voice chat not causing its own problems. I kind of like battlelog, it's like facebook but for the game. Definitely unique. I always use skype for voice chat, haven't come across a game with decent VOIP.

said by Koil:The game us playable and fun, I'm not saying it isn't, but I'd give it 3.5...maybe 4 outta 5 as there are a ton of things that could be done to improve the over all experience. I've accepted a lot of what I think are cons as standard BF fare, like not being able to adjust your loadout while alive (reduces number of afk kills), or... well haters can start here: »Re: BF3 Official Thread
But in my estimation, the game is very playable, bugs aren't much beyond a distraction, and it gets a 4.0-4.5/5.0. -- If we lose this freedom of ours, history will record with the greatest astonishment, those who had the most to lose, did the least to prevent its happening. |

 | I joined some South American servers once. It was humorous to me not knowing what anyone was saying. |

At the bottom of the forward stairs under Ticket Gate, you can set up a mortar and hit targets outside the building with immunity. Likewise, you can set up a mortar in the atrium of the Russian spawn point and not be killed by a mortar. You can be shot by a bullet, knifed or killed by hand grenade in both spots, however. Hmm interesting. Thanks! |

| reply to Krisnatharok A quick update to my lack of flying ability. I discovered through google some folks discussing that the game is mostly a PS3/XBOX port and to try flying with a gamepad. Luckily I still have a logitech gamepad and hooked it up and find flying is now 10 times easier than using the joystick.
Sad to see that console's are taking over gaming. |

I'm debating about buying BF3 twice one for the pc and ps3 but since they don't share stats it gets annoying. -- It's NOT Ni-kon It's NE-KON!

Anyways about to buy the game in a few (trying to clear up more hard drive space) I know for sure it's going to look crappy on my system but I'm not upgrading till prices normalize. |

Prices are rock bottom right now, especially for CPUs/GPUs. The only part that is up is HDDs, and even then you can get a 1TB for about $100, less if you shop for deals.
Sure beats 2x 80GBs. -- If we lose this freedom of ours, history will record with the greatest astonishment, those who had the most to lose, did the least to prevent its happening. |

| lol yeah sure does beat 2x80GB haha I'm not sure how much I want to upgrade however if I do gaming wont be the main focus since not much on the PC I see worth spending $500+ to upgrade my system on.. but that's just me.
Having said that I'm getting BF3 on origin now. |

The one thing that is easier with the gamepad is throttle control. I couldn't hover at all with choppers but now I can control the throttle so hovering behind a mountain and popping up to shoot is easier. It increases life expectancy greatly.
On an unrelated note, I tried using Firefox 64 Bit when I first got the game and it didn't like me using that to login to Battlelog. I've noticed now it does not give that warning. Anyone know if this has been fixed? |
