Only problem now is they locked down my modem and I can't view my signal levels at the 192.168.100.1 page, it ask for a password.. tried motorola, timewarner, cusadmin, etc.. anyone know the pass?? |

Before I switched to 30/5 I had no problem accessing the 192.168.100.1 page, no password at all |

 | reply to Night0wl I finally was able to get a hold of a CSR who would give me the $49.99 price for the 30/5. Looking forward to the increased speeds from my $33 for 15/0.5 connection, as well as the increased reliability of the DOCSIS 3.0 modem.
I could not get the CSR to send me a modem to configure by phone instead of the $40 at-home installation fee. I tried calling back but no dice. I will pay the fee if I have to, but I'd much rather put the $ towards purchasing my own SB6121 and provision it by phone.
Has anyone recently been able to convince them to provision his own modem? So frustrating that they make you jump through hoops with everything, even when it is so simple for them to have a technician set it up by phone... |

| reply to coolade There is no self-install or mail out option for wideband in the NYC area, whether you speak to a CSR or a manager. However, if you upgrade to the 50/5 wideband, you get a free install and free phone service, free voice mail and free phone activation fee. |
