Questions regarding ATT final bill

Hi, so i switched to sonic.net 2 weeks ago, and today I got my final ATT bill. I noticed that i got prorated for my phone service, however, I got charged the FULL PRICE ($40) for their dsl service when I only used it for roughly 5 days since the billing cycle started. Do they not prorate the internet service when you cancel?

They do, at least they did when I switched to Sonic. However I got 3 different final bills from AT&T over a period of about 6 weeks. The first "final bill" arrived within days of the regular monthly bill and still included an amount to pay (which I did). The revised final bills included refund checks for the pro-rating of services that had been billed in advance for a full month (long distance rate plan and DSL Internet service if I remember correctly).

Perhaps you can accelerate the refunds if you contact them, but I didn't and it all happened automatically.

My refund for the DSL service prorated charges came in a separate check approximately a month after actually cancelling the service.
