(I wasn't paying attention, didn't this thread get deleted?)

No, just ignored.

But I would have remembered taking the time to ignore it.

Not necessarily.

You COULD have been ignoring it in your Spare Time, or in your Sleep.

People are not ignoring this thread with due diligence.

How in the heck can the Hockey thread still be pulling ahead when the players have been on strike for half a year?

Cuz that hockey thread is 3 years old and this one a year old?

Not that i noticed. I tend to just ignore these things, personally.

What's more interesting, however, is why do Canadians keep 3 year old and one year old topics alive?

THIS thread »Globe & Other 2011-44 (UBB) articles is almost 2 years old and is still relevant.

UBB, under one name or another, drags on....

The government gives millions to banks for doing system improvements that they'd do anyway and break no new ground. There's probably some SRTC money in building an app which can automatically ignore this thread - that would truly be a ground-breaking achievement.

I can see it now - the app can have scheduled 'ignorance' based on: time of day, week, month, phase of moon, tides, sunspot cycle, Mayan calendar, Passover, Kwanza, pagan holidays, grape harvest dates, when hell freezes over, each time a Conservative cabinet minister sticks their foot in "it", or even just a random ignorance generator. The possibilities are endless. Available on iToys, Android, Blackberry, OS X, Linux, that thing called Windows.

I can ignore non class compliant USB MIDI drivers...

I can ignore sloppy Windows security...

I can ignore this thread...

BUT I CAN'T IGNORE THE FACT THAT NOBODY SELLS FROZEN BURGERS ANY LONGER FOR THE PAST 6 MONTHS!!!

I'd get behind that. And it would update the user on lugnut's newest lolcats picture to help with the process.
