 | Ports wont forward no matter what Hello Forummers.
I have never been fustrated with a network issue this bad. Therefore i will explain clearly so you get an idea on how to help me. I have a Belkin G Wireless router F5D7234-4 v3
PROBLEM: I am UNABLE to get my Ps3 from NAT TYPE 3 to TYPE 2.
THINGS TRIED TO SOLVE THIS ISSUE: 1. I have created a static ip, just like the normal way everybody else does.
2. I port forwarded all the correct ports in the Virtual servers section in my wifi settings and assigned/enabled the ports for my PS3 static IP. (As instructed and shown by www.portforward.com
3. I enabled my DMZ and assigned my PS3 static IP address to it, without enabling the ports i forwarded in the Virtual servers settings.
4. I enabled my DMZ and assigned my PS3's static IP along with enabling the ports i forwarded.
5. I enabled UpNP on my ps3 settings and on my wifi settings.
6. I repeated all the things above with my DCHP turned OFF as well as on.
7. I resetted my router system from scratch and attempted these steps again.
8. I restored all my PS3 settings to default and repeated these steps again.
9. I created a different static IP for my ps3 everytime it failed to give me a Type 2 Nat. E.g. 192.168.2.(any number from 8-60)
10. I disabled all media server connections on my PS3
11. I resetted my MODEM that my ISP gave me from scratch.
12. I repeated all of these steps 15-20 times. I am now Sick and unwell
By the way, i used to get TYPE 2 nat before but for some reason i am no lönger able to get a type 2. Also the ports WILL NOT FORWARD. I used a port checker tool to see if the ports are forwarded but it says they're unreachable.
Hope to hear from you asap. Thanks. Fahmi |
