No ratings last 6m | OEM and NFR software sales strictly prohibited In the past, we have allowed OEM software sales in /forsale as long as it met the criteria set by the company publishing the software. Effective immediately, we will no longer be allowing OEM software sales of any kind. This change is being brought about for several reasons:
•Constantly changing EULA's make it difficult to keep up with what's allowed, what isn't and what constitutes a "computer system" in the eyes of the software producer. Some require full PCs, some require 'components' of PCs.
•Misrepresentation of software by members selling: opened vs. unopened and digital downloads.
•We ("DSLReports") have to protect ourselves against any potential litigation and ensure that we're not violating or hosting sales that violate licensing terms set forth by the manufacturers.
