 | Belkin router crashes when loading Youtube page Hello,
Since 1 week, my Belkin router ((F5D7632-4 V7000fr) always crashes when a computer in my LAN is loading a Youtube video. I need to unplug/re-plug the router.
Computers are not affected (ie. do not crash). Only the router crashes.
The problem can be reproduced from any computer in the LAN: Mac's, PC and even iPod Touch - so this is not a FlashPlayer issue.
Accesses to all other web sites are OK, including Dailymotion.
I tried - unsuccesssully - the following:
- changed WiFi frequency from auto to other numbers - router firewall set to off - installed last microcode bin file from Belkin - re-installed old configs for this router that I had saved previously
Any help or hint ? Thanks !
Alexandre. |

I'm having the exact same experience, although it does seem to be intermittant.
I've not updated firmware. Router Firewall is off. I did increase Maximum incomplete TCP/UDP sessions number from same host from 10 to 30. I also tried clearing cookies and history-does work sometimes, but could be coincidence. |

 | Guess nobody is gonna help us with this then |

Re: Belkin router crashes when loading Youtube page While probably not going to be of much help, I did notice you went through the exercise of changing your WiFi settings.
Do you have the same problem of the router locking up with devices that are hardwired as well? -- one should not increase, beyond what is necessary, the number of entities required to explain anything |
