| ATT DSL bait and switch Watch out for this AT&T dsl bait and switch. Basically they sell us dsl elite in order to get the 6.0 mps speeds, but only give you 2.5 mps. They have done this to me several times. Charge you $45.00 per month for the service, but only allow you the slow speeds. When you call the service desk they tell you "oh I am sorry, let me check, yes your right, you had noise on your line", I have fixed the problem. total BS. But the whole time they are over charging you. I my case it was about 250.00.
Best thing you can do is go to »www.speakeasy.net/speedtest/ or »www.speakeasy.net/speedtest/ and test your line speeds. |
