| Vonage on clear 4G Success! I thought I'd share this sucess as mostly I find this forum ony full of bad news and complaints. I have a clear spot, black unit for mobile service, I have a linksys wet54gs router flashed with dd-wrt in the same room set in client bridge mode. The IP for the linksys router is set in the dmz of the clear spot( may not be nesesary) a v portal is plugged into the linksys. Bandwith is set to low(30k) on the Vonage site for my account.
Everything sounds great, works great. Fwiw I have a sig of -77 and a cine of 15 on the clear device. Only thig is my hr10-250 TiVo won't dial in. But those damn modems are Very finikey anyhow and required certain codes just to get dialing on a perfectly clear line anyhow. |
