| DIR-655 WAN My internet is down. Will the DIR-655 get an ip automagically when it comes back up or should I be clicking renew every few minutes on the web page? I've been going to the basement every 15 minutes to unplug the power to the cable modem and getting slightly tired of it. Any other hints? |

It should be trying to renew it's lease until it finally gets one...
...but have you noticed why almost every ISP always asks you to unplug and replug your router, it's because sometimes poop happens, and rebooting it will definitely make it request an IP again. |

You could always try turning on Unicasting here: »192.168.0.1/Basic/WAN.shtml |
