criggs join:2000-07-14 New York, NY | Sprint Down? Getting no connectivity at all in New York City at the moment. I'm on an Overdrive. Nothing, either on 3G or 4G. I'm definitely getting connected to the device, as I have no problem pulling up the Overdrive Control page in my browser. And that page is showing a completely normal signal, and normal connectivity on both 3G and 4G. But I can't pull up any web pages and I can't pull in any email.
I fired up my other Sprint doohinkey, which is an HTC Evo Shift. Same problem. It looks like all of Sprint's wireless network is out in New York City, or at least in Manhattan. For all devices. Modems, Hotspots, smartphones, you name it. If it's a Sprint device it's dead.
Anyone else experiencing this problem in my area? |

criggs join:2000-07-14 New York, NY | Actually I've been on the Google DNS servers for a few months, ever since the Sprint DNS servers started to act up (as I recall, that occurred some time in the summer).
In any event, when I got up this morning around 11AM this morning Eastern, all was back to normal. Go figure. |
