I'm not usually one to publicly comment on grammar, but this article is chock full of egregious grammatical errors. Did anyone proof this thing or just paste it directly from first draft to print?
This is a trend I am starting to see more often on the web and it drives me batty. |

 | When it comes to "articles" on forums and blogs--let alone the typical posts, I've learned to ignore "typos"--which I differentiate from "grammatical errors" (one being a lack of focus or just a finger-check, the other being a lack of knowledge concerning correct grammar)... especially my own ; and my degree is in English (so the stupid grammar mistakes still bug me). Frankly, I think the first draft is the only draft before publishing for these articles... meh.
(You left out a comma by the way. ) -- "Sorry for not responding to your post, but either I haven't seen it yet, or what you said was so devoid of substance that I found it utterly uninteresting." |

|
 | No, I'm not referring to "parenthetical" commas (though, to be honest, you're actually missing a pair--just in different places): 1) offset the name of a person being addressed 2) separate 2 subordinate clauses (I only mention these at all because they "stand out". ) -- "Sorry for not responding to your post, but either I haven't seen it yet, or what you said was so devoid of substance that I found it utterly uninteresting." |

For kicks, would you mind quoting that I wrote with the missing commas? |
