1 edit | Netopia 3346N-002 cannot access web interface HELP I recently got a Netopia 3346N-002, and I did not know the password to the web interface so I hit the reset button. It didn't do anything--I'm not sure if I didn't hold it for long enough or something, but I read that you shouldn't hold it for more than a "brief second" (which I didn't). So, I tried this a few times, restarting in between. Each time, I tried admin + 1234 and admin + serial number, but neither worked. So, I think I either fudged the modem, it was just never reset, or the password is missing altogether.

| Yes, I said that in OP, but I fixed it. Turns out I needed to hold down the reset button for longer (3 seconds or so) and then the serial number did the trick. I hope this helps some other people, and problem solved for me. |

Yea holding down the reset button for long time resets router to factory defaults. Doing it for a "short" time just reboots the unit.
