| Clear voice service ended I talked to a Clear rep at bestbuy in Vegas on Maryland prky and she said Clear no longer offers the voice service due to "nobody has home phones anymore" ....ok guess Vonage is a myth..... And "it didn't work" well I can say from personal experience that their high pings and high jitter in their network were not going to allow voip to work well if at all. Its too bad I like going to bestbuy and grabbing a unlock linksys voip adapter and running up to the counter with it when the "I need to sign you up first and get all your info" Rep was not looking. $15.00 was all they were! I did get severl over the last year to play with. One on Voipstunt, one on voipvoip, two on Callcentric, they worked great! |

 | I've had CLEAR voice for about 1.5 years now. I love it! $60 including taxes for voice and Internet is great. I can't fax with it. But for the price it is good enough for me |

 | reply to civicturbo I get some jitter from my voip units running through Clearwire (even the online speed tests show relatively high jitter).
Clear should not be attempting their own VOIP, if their service can't provide low jitter service through their towers & modems. Their VOIP would not work perfectly either. If their VOIP is perfect, then they are deliberately jittering those who don't pay extra for their VOIP service. |

 | Yah, my Vonage service and other voip providers never worked thru Clear so despite the pick 2 for 50 deal I got in 09 I had to dump them after 6 months of voip trouble. I guess if you live under their tower it can work |
