Fairpoint problems in SouthParis CO

So I've been having issues with Fairpoint for well over 1 year and a half now. Most of which is documented within these forums and my rather epic 100+ calls to support.

A few months ago I get a call from the so called engineer at my local CO saying that there is a problem with the DSLAM being over provisioned at the CO and it's planned for an upgrade. Almost 6 months later I'm still having issues and the so called upgrade is still planned. Is Fairpoint this incompetent? Really?

They finally admitted there is an issue and still haven't fixed it. I haven't payed a bill in months due to customer support given me credit for shitty service. My lines are good but they keep sending out the same poor tech, over and over again. This company can't go bankrupt fast enough.

Anyone else having these issues in this area call in and get credit, they know there is an issue but refuse to fix it.

again

@rr.com

They have no money to fix it.

Then they need to go bankrupt and stay there. Because their service is so bad I haven't payed a bill in almost a year (thank you customer service). I wouldn't pay for service this bad. I have a dialup connection for prime time usage, it's much faster (latency wise)... sadly.

4.0KB/s download... and they closed my ticket saying problem solved.... WTF. Soon as 6:00pm rolls around I go back to morse code. They can't even provide dialup quality service on a 3/1 connection. This goes beyond incompetence.
