Just checked before posting and it cleared up. Musta woke it up. BTW, getting files from 2/2009..... -- one should not increase, beyond what is necessary, the number of entities required to explain anything |

 | reply to mr_slick it's a lot better now, but still not quite full speed (only getting ~1100KB/sec) |

Fast speeds and great price. I bailed on Astra a couple of years ago and couldn't be happier. -- Support the Occupy Wall Street movement--vandalize private property! »tinyurl.com/4yaqboj |

Same deal here -- I can usually max out my 60Mbit connection but it appears to be very bursty tonight. |

Re: Astraweb super slow I'm running astraweb off a 50mbit connection and i'm finding it between 900kb to 1.2mb/s Really slow tonight |
|
 | reply to mr_slick I haven't noticed any speed issues with Astraweb here lately. I get the occasional 1-2Mbps drop but most of the time I am getting 33Mbps+ on my 30Mbps line. I run 20 connections all the time and use both of their servers. |

bbhog join:2010-07-05 North York, ON | reply to mr_slick Does anyone notice times where a bulk of your connections disconnect and you can't reconnect for a while. Error stating that I've run out of connections?
I've been getting that a lot these days. |
|
 | occasionally- prb the auth svr hadn't yet ack'd that you've dropped those connections.
just have to wait a few mins |

Isn't Newshosting Highwinds ? -- Sabotage is surely happening and I have the evidence to prove it. There is no way I would never notice. The sabotage does not surprise me. It is funny how it stands out so much. I am not stupid. |

| I don't believe it is but it could be. I haven't had any problems with anything. Of course I've only been back with them for a couple of weeks so maybe there are that I'm not aware of. NH is certainly running a lot better than Astraweb at this single point in time. |

GooberPremium join:2000-12-17 Naperville, IL kudos:4 | NH is highwinds. I think they honor takedown requests, but I'm not sure. |
