 | New Verizon rewards for loyal customers. Just got some info from Verizon on rewarding "loyal" customers. You are considered a loyal customer if you have a triple play and are not in a contract.
1. Existing customers not on contract or within 60 days of their contract expiration will now be eligible for the same promotions previously offered to new customers only if you renew for a 2 year contract. 2. As a signing bonus you can also get your choice of a $300 Visa Prepaid card, or a multiroom dvr, showtime, or spanish language package, free for 1 year. |

 | Source or link please? It's a deal I might be interested in but don't want to waste hours on the phone with a CSR.
Thanks -- REMEMBER: Stupidity should be painful !! |

Ok, I think I found it.
Edit #2 : Tried to get the $300 prepaid visa card through online chat but no luck. The rep basically said we didn't qualify because we renewed on the 2nd and this offer just started today. (nov 6) |

 | Doesn't seem to be available in NY. My triple play has been out of contract for several months and I don't see this offer when I log in or try to modify my existing bundle.
Sure looks good though! |

 | reply to waiting4fios Be vary careful on renewal of 2 yr. You will be put into the current triple play price vs what you had before. Just my 2 cents. But the $300 is nice. |
|
 | reply to waiting4fios Great, I just renewed a couple months ago. Is the Triple Play fee any lower? What package is 89.99, is that Ultimate or Prime? |

I don't see that offer. What I do see is a choice of an extra 12-month discount for Showtime or Spanish channels. Nice, but not $300 worth. |

DampierPhillip M Dampier join:2003-03-23 Rochester, NY | This $300 offer has been pretty standard procedure for NEW customers, not existing ones. Nothing in the original graphic suggested this was for existing customers, but rather for new ones just signing up.
Has anyone managed to secure this with existing service? I could see some customers talking their way into a new promotion with existing service, but this will be something new if Verizon is specifically targeting existing customers with this kind of promotion. -- Phillip M. | How can you give a "loyalty" reward to someone who hasn't started being loyal yet? |
|
SteelyI rise when the sun goes downPremium join:2000-10-15 Princeton Junction, NJ kudos:1 1 edit | I guess they're "rewarding" you for locking into a 2-year contract/commitment. A pledge of "loyalty"? |

From where did you "just get" this info? If online, can you post a link or screenshot or tell us what you clicked on to get to it? If in the mail, can you maybe post a scan? Thanks. |
