Dumped the $24.99/mo HBO/Max package today from my account since Cinemax is now part of Ultimate (which I already subscribe to).
Will most likely pick HBO back up when True Blood resumes next year.

Collegeville, PA | I think it's because not enough subscribers were signing up for Ultimate HD. There's very little difference between Extreme and Ultimate - it's mostly only has a handful of sports/outdoor channels and less than half of the premiums. However, most of those sports/outdoor channels are niche channels, nothing must-have for most. It's most likely the premium channels that draw in the majority of Ultimate HD's subscribers. Yet the package was still missing the bulk of premium channels with HBO, Cinemax, and Starz/Encore. Now with the addition of Cinemax that package is going to be more appealing for those that were just adding on premium channels onto their Extreme or Prime package instead. |

I just got off the phone with Tech Support and Billing and now Cinemax VOD Work's !. Here is what they did. Tech support told me that it's a billing issue and that Cinemax was not provisioned on my account, so he transferred me to Billing and the girl I spoke to removed the video on demand form my account and then put it back on, she told me it would refresh All the VOD on my account. She told me it would take 10-15 Minute's to Complete and Now all the Cinemax VOD title's Now Work.
So it's worth calling the Billing Dept and having them refresh the VOD on your Account's.

said by film11 :They probably received it cropped. If you let them know, they'll correct it. (What movie was cropped?) This happened with CASINO ROYALE. The studio sent Showtime the cropped version and it premiered that way. But viewers e-mailed them and a month later, CASINO was in it's full widescreen glory...and has remained that way. Unlike HBO, MAX and STARZ, Showtime actually listens to their subscribers.

I'm having the same issue - linear channels are on, but VOD and Max Go are not. I pinged them via chat, and was told that VOD and Max Go will be provisioned for everyone at the end of the month. |
