I also created an '@ymail.com' account last night. It happens pretty consistently now once or twice an hour. I've always had Outlook configured to send/receive every 10 minutes.<br><br>This is the error message that gets generated when I don't click the OK button on the popup dialog box that has the user name and password fields filled out. Those of us who polled the POP3 servers with an MTA POP3 client never saw the problem without reviewing the client logs. MTA POP3 clients tend to poll the servers on a periodic basis, and the users polled the local POP3 server of the MTA, not the actual Yahoo! <description><![CDATA[bennor posted : Is anyone else having intermittent email authentication issues recently when using the "pop.att.yahoo.com" servers? <br><br>Using Microsoft Outlook 2010 with the "pop.att.yahoo.com" servers with two email addresses (xyz@sbcglobal.net), starting in the last week or so, every now and then, a dialog box pop's up in Outlook, when its checking for mail, asking me for my email account user name and password which are already filled in. Never had this problem until a week or so ago. Doesn't happen every time it checks for mail, just randomly at the moment.]]></description>
