People who can afford to drop any amount of money on broadband and computers to use it shouldn't be viewed as "poor."

Depending on the computer. What if it was an old one that someone donated or given away?

Yes, people probably can't afford a "new" computer.. but I usually find old P2-P4's at the rescue mission for $10. That, plus a "found on the curb" CRT monitor, keyboard, and mouse.. It's technically "a computer".
