Uh...that actually requires effort? Well to be fair, why is it bad for any private entity, be it a corporation or a person to exploit any and every legal method available to reduce tax burden? The people who write up these studies probably all do the same thing too.
I agree that the current US Federal Tax Code is a joke and should be revamped so that the tax burden is spread out more, but don't blame players for playing a game they have to play.

I would presume you agree that the federal government should crack down on private entities which do not pay taxes they legally owe *cough*Berkshire Hathaway*cough*.

It does when the article makes no distinction between tax avoidance which is legal and tax evasion which is not.
This 'study' was just a hit piece by people who have either no idea of how the tax code works or they just want to take an unjustified attack on corporations.
