Callcentric is Great. Well worth consideration.

Miles o' Smiles
Following is a message I sent to Callcentric recently:

As I've mentioned before. I think Callcentric is the perfect answer for anyone, irrespective of one's computer skills level, who is looking for a VOiP solution to ever increasing phone rates. Is there anywhere that you would prefer I trumpet this information? I had to discover you guys on my own. You rarely, if ever, appear on any of the VOiP comparison charts. I don't remember where I found out about Callcentric, I've been paying for a rate plan w/you for around a year, now. That's how I was confident that when I was ready to cut "Ma Bell", and all of the incarnations of which the Bell system has taken advantage over the years (I'm an old codger), Callcentric was what I needed.
My aforementioned (see previous) computer Guru can't figure out why such free access to highly sensitive internet settings are afforded a novice like me by the maker of my ATA (Grandstream). But I'm naturally a person who is wary of change. So if changing an Advance Setting1 (for example) within a program, etc. isn't advised by someone I trust, I leave it alone. I'm glad I relied on the advice of people at Callcentric. Everything's working just fine now.
All of the voicemail features available (for free) are just what I need. You can pick which numbers are sent to Call Forwarding, Any call can be routed to a number of areas (including a message that says "this number has been disconnected"). Your service is very inexpensive. I Just about any feature can be customized. I love it.

I have to agree. I have been using callcentric for a long time now. Yes, its about $12 a month for what I use, but the service works very well. No problems at all. I have thought about switching to Ooma, but since I haven't had a problem, I am ok with callcentric for now.

I'm a happy customer too.

You should see this chart:

And it would be useful to post a review in the review section. After you log in, go to: »/reviewit

Happy customer here, too. I use the pay-per-call package at a weekend home where I wouldn't want to have to pay the charge for "full" service. So for a few dollars a month, we have phone service in an area where cell reception is spotty.

Happy customer here.

Callcentric installed at 2 homes.

Free calls between homes, great quality domestically and international.

Good tech support during installation.

Pay per call plans at both locations.
