Knew it was coming when Chrome updated it's Flash earlier today. |

Two things.
1) The link to download Flash has an extra "http//" in it. 2) I think Adobe only updated the AIH (Whatever that stands for) files. The full installer files from the usual place are still 11.0.1.152 . |

Just by chance I was there a moment ago, saw the number, check with what I have on file, & said, heh, they just updated. (And so shall I, momentarily.) |

Just as before (& I did not verify all the downloads) ... IE (ActiveX, ~3.5 or 7.5 MB respectively):
http://fpdownload.macromedia.com/get/flashplayer/current/licensing/win/install_flash_player_11_active_x_32bit.exe
http://fpdownload.macromedia.com/get/flashplayer/current/licensing/win/install_flash_player_11_active_x_64bit.exe
Netscape (Mozilla, Opera & all the rest; DLL, ~3.5 or 7.5 MB respectively):
http://fpdownload.macromedia.com/get/flashplayer/current/licensing/win/install_flash_player_11_plugin_32bit.exe
http://fpdownload.macromedia.com/get/flashplayer/current/licensing/win/install_flash_player_11_plugin_64bit.exe
They are also available in MSI installer varieties:
http://fpdownload.macromedia.com/pub/flashplayer/current/licensing/win/install_flash_player_11_active_x_32bit.msi
http://fpdownload.macromedia.com/pub/flashplayer/current/licensing/win/install_flash_player_11_active_x_64bit.msi
http://fpdownload.macromedia.com/get/flashplayer/current/licensing/win/install_flash_player_11_plugin_32bit.msi
http://fpdownload.macromedia.com/get/flashplayer/current/licensing/win/install_flash_player_11_plugin_64bit.msi
The 64bit versions include both the 32 & 64-bit versions, but will only run/install on a 64-bit OS. (So if all you have a 32-bit OS, they will do you no good.) Edit: I left out the MSI ActiveX versions. |

I'm still seeing version 11.0.1.152 at these locations: » download.macromedia.com/ ··· 2bit.exe» download.macromedia.com/ ··· 4bit.exeWaiting for them to come correct to 11.1.102.55. Edit: Now these 404. Possibly they're depracating these locations but they're still linked from » kb2.adobe.com/cps/191/tn ··· 166.htmlEdit 2: Just used the ones linked by therube immediately above, which were the same packages anyway, and worked fine. |

Their servers must be getting hammered now, because when I try to install the new one (after running un-installer) the installation times out and goes to site stating install was un-sucessfull....this was on FFx 8.0,and WinXP...either that or there is some other glitch...
Edit: just went to a site that required the flash plug-in,installed and version DL was the same as I had before...11.0.1.152 |

Is there anyway to download the full flash executables for Fx and IE instead of Adobe's cheesy installers (short of waiting for FileHippo to post 'em)? |

Bookmarked! I hate Adobe's downloaders. I see v10.3 updates too for older OSes. |

I still have XP Pro but what I recall reading here when others have asked this question is that the 64bit download contains the 32bit also. So, you would only need to download the 32 bit one if you have a 32 bit OS. |

Ditto...that link is awesome. Bookmarked as well. On my Win7 64 bit OS, I only have 32 bit Fx and IE so I use the 32 bit flash installer only. |
