 | [bug] Bad password one place but ok elsewhere? If I try to login using my username/password when adding a comment to an existing thread the forum tells me my password is wrong. If I then go through the login link at the top of the page and use the exact same username and password I get logged in. No idea what's going on with that. |

 | Odd. If it didn't work it would make sense to remove it.
I (sortof) got an IM with a question about this and I'll respond here because I'm not sure what's going on with the IM's. The responder said he wasn't able to reproduce the problem and asked about password length. It's 7 characters, mixed letters and numbers. I hope length isn't a problem but maybe the numbers are.
While I'm here.... I got a notification yesterday about receiving an IM (the one I mentioned above), but when I went to look in the IM inbox there was nothing there. It wasn't until I looked in the Conversations tab that I could see it. Does that mean it was deleted? |

| Password is an issue if it's longer than 12 in the top login box rather than the login page. I don't know if this issue has been corrected or not it was this way in the past. Your 7 characters shouldn't be a problem.
If you have IMs sent to email you won't get a notification at the top of the page the same as if you don't have them set that way. They also automatically mark as read for the sender if they go to email. |

 | The IM itself wasn't sent by email. It was just a notification that I'd gotten one. I know it worked correctly in the past, but that was quite some time ago. |
